Also known as WSB14, this major conference is aimed at addressing social and environmental challenges facing the building sector as a whole. In practical terms, this means setting out a roadmap for local action plans consistent with global energy efficiency challenges. The conference therefore seeks to achieve consensus among stakeholders, organisations and experts, and to draw on the different existing realities in an integrated manner. The R2CITIES project will be well represented at this event since three partners including the coordinator will be present: Fundación CARTIF, Acciona and youris.com

Six broad themes encompassing cities and citizenship will be featured: Smart society, technology, governance, energy, mobility, sustainability. These cover many of the concerns of the R2CITIES project and in particular those of our partner Genoa Municipality who will be participating.
