As project coordinator, Rubén García from Fundación CARTIF, represented R2CITIES at the European Commission’s 4th EeB PPP impact workshop in Brussels on 1-2 April. Margherita Scotto from R2CITIES partner D’Appolonia was also present.

The R2CITIES Consortium met for three days at the premises of partner Acciona in Madrid to assess achievements to date and plan the coming project period.

Welcome to the first R2CITIES Newsletter! This is the first issue of a series of newsletters that will keep you informed about our project, called R2CITIES. The project, which is co-financed through the FP7 programme, is ambitious – to develop replicable strategies that can be applied to large-scale district renovation initiatives for achieving nearly zero energy cities
