The SEE Exhibition "Smart Cities", Sofia is considered as a unique opportunity to improved geographic outreach of the R2CITIES project's concepts to the southeastern European region. R2CITIES will be jointly represented with other three EU-funded projects coordinated by CARTIF - DIRECTION, CITyFiED and REMOURBAN - on a common stand in the exhibition. Between them, R2CITIES, DIRECTION, CITyFiED and REMOURBAN are 12 demonstration sites and 17 follower cities delivering tangible partnerships and achievements in large-scale renovation and smart cities initiatives. From cost-effective innovations creating the latest near zero-energy new buildings and retrofits to replicable strategies for smarter cities and citizen-driven urban regeneration, CARTIF and its partners are making ambitions a reality.
